Adventures among horses and goblins

I miss going on holiday maybe the best thing about holidays was being a child.

I remember with a lot of nostalgia the two week holiday we had in 2009. I was a little child and the world looked huge and everything was so believable there were so many fantasies in my mind.

I'm not sure where we stayed but the beach we went to was called Ventana and I remember the Journey on foot through an eternal forest where it's now full of houses.

We had gone with my mum and my paternal family including my cousin.

The fun was the stories they told in the evenings as we were allowed to stay until a little later playing in the courtyard and although we were frightened by goblins it was still fun to try our luck maybe we would see one.

On the other hand next to the house there was a big oval-shaped fence where they kept horses. That was the first time I saw a horse in person and we spent the whole day watching them or feeding them with the food they had on the side.

Actually everything was interesting It was fun walking in the woods watching the horse eating empanadas playing in the house bathing on the beach with warm water (in my innocence I had no idea what that meant for the environment) and having lots of time to talk to my mum.

My parental family sucks but my cousin and siblings made that holiday one I haven't forgotten.

  1. Hi Fran, I also have memories since I was a child of Ventana beach and Quinteros bay, unfurtunately that is a sacrificial zone, with a lot of pollution.
